Are you aware of the well-being resources available at your university? WELL-BEING RESOURCES IN THE ARAGON UNIVERSITY SYSTEM (SUA).
ACPUA has held an online seminar aimed at raising awareness of resources and best practices for promoting the wellbeing of university students. The initiative forms part of the ACPUA+Students programme and reinforces the Agency’s commitment to social responsibility and caring for the university community.
The session was opened by the director of ACPUA, Cristina Rodríguez Coarasa, and featured a presentation by Belén Serrano Valenzuela, PhD in Education and Psychology and Quality Officer at ACPUA, who outlined various tools developed by the Agency to support students’ academic, emotional and career guidance.
During the meeting, Roberto Navarro Montes, PhD in Psychology, Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and of the Counselling and Psychoeducational Support Service (SOAP) at the University of San Jorge, shared experiences and specific initiatives in psychoeducational support focused on the comprehensive support of students within the induction and support programmes implemented by the University of San Jorge.
Next, Mª Ángeles Franco Sierra, Vice-Rector for University Community and Social Commitment at the University of Zaragoza, outlined the main lines, objectives and actions of the comprehensive university health and wellbeing plans in her presentation “Comprehensive University Health and Wellbeing Plan”, covering, amongst other things, the specific actions of the University’s wellbeing plans.
The seminar brought together quality assurance bodies, social partners, students and university technical staff specialising in guidance and psychological support services for the university community, creating a forum for discussion on an increasingly key element in the quality of the university system: people’s well-being.
