Aragon Agency for Quality Assurance and Strategic Foresight in Higher Education (ACPUA)

22/09/2020. The ACPUA has attended the seminar, Programmatic Accreditation in the STEM Disciplines and the Assessment of Student Learning & Outcomes, the second of the workshops organised as part of the Pre-Forum activities which will take place from 28th September to 1st October (online) and organised by INQAAHE and AKKORK (the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Career Development).
The seminar, facilitated by Michael Milligan, PhD, Executive Director and CEO at ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology), focused on the approach this non-governmental organisation uses for accrediting STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) academic programmes. ABET accreditation provides assurance that a college or university program meets the quality standards of the profession for which that program prepares graduates.
The ACPUA also attended the Workshop4 INQAHHHE's Guidelines of Good Practice (GGP) facilitated by Pauline Tang, former Vice President of INQAAHE, for addressing a topic of particular importance to our agency.
