ACPUA publishes issue 13 of the ACPUA Learns series

17/02/2025

This new publication entitled "Evaluation tool  co-creation workshop" is part of the ACPUA+Students programme and was created with the aim of explaining the creation of a new evaluation system that incorporates the participation of students in the design of its protocols. Its authors include 2 students from the University of Zaragoza and 1 student from the University of Toulouse (France) who is also an expert evaluator in higher education quality assurance.

The co-creation workshop of the evaluation tool is a new innovative system of quality evaluation that aims to quickly and accurately collect the opinions of the student body. The main objective is to give this group a voice in this process, taking into account both the topics to be asked about and the ideal tool for accessing all their suggestions.

In this specific case and as a pilot project, two workshops have been held to co-create a tool that has served to gather information from the student body, constituting an additional source of information for the evaluation of the renewal of the institutional accreditation of the centres.

With these activities the ACPUA follows the standards 2.2 and 3.4 of the standards or guidelines for quality assurance in higher education (ESG) by designing its "fit for purpose" methodologies and by regularly publishing reports describing and analysing the overall findings of its external quality assurance activities.
