The Aragon Agency for Quality Assurance and Strategic Foresight in Higher Education (ACPUA) is responsible for evaluating the performance of university centers in Aragon through its voluntary programs for quality management system evaluation and institutional accreditation.
To this end, evaluation protocols are applied in line with the ESG (Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area).
After six years since the first evaluation of the centers, a new process begins for the Renewal of Institutional Accreditation. This procedure, first implemented in 2024 for two centers at the University of Zaragoza, will be replicated starting in December 2025 in the three centers of San Jorge University.
With the aim of incorporating students’ perspectives into this process, ACPUA organized co-creation workshops with students from the University of Zaragoza and San Jorge University. During these sessions, the topics considered most relevant by students for assessing their experience at the centers were identified.
As a result, ACPUA has developed ACPUA_eBOX, a new tool that gathers students’ opinions on the aspects they deem most important for evaluating the quality of their teaching and learning process. The information collected will serve as additional evidence for ACPUA’s evaluation of the center.
This digital tool, in the form of an anonymous survey, will be available through a link that will be sent to students from the three USJ centers from November 24 at 10:00 a.m. until November 28 at 2:00 p.m.
