On 8 May, the ACPUA attended the webinar organised by INQAAHE, an international network of quality assurance agencies in university education, in collaboration with the World Student Forum, in which four papers were presented.

The aim of this training was to learn about different theoretical and practical approaches to student participation and engagement in the university environment, but also to know the comparative between continents in this area, highlighting the strong development of quality agencies in Europe in this area through compliance with the ESG (2015).

The speakers, led by Mary Catharine Lennon (INQAAHE Committee Director) shared their different approaches from their organisations: World Student Forum (Ellen Dixon, New Zealand), European Students' Union ESU (Horia Onita, Romania), University of London (Derfel Owen, UK) and University of Ottawa (Jovan Groen, Canada).

ACPUA took part in this webinar with the aim of promoting the enhancement of student engagement in its external quality assessment activities (ESG 1.3) and the continuous students´ participation in its ACPUA+Students programme.
