ACPUA has been one of the Spanish agencies that participated today in the webinar "3rd consultation review panel" organized by the European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), a body that, on a regular basis, evaluates quality agencies in the European Higher Education Area to see if they meet European standards (ESG). In order to improve the composition and functioning of ENQA panels that evaluate agencies, three have been the main issues discussed during this webinar: the opportunity to expand the number of panel members from 4 to 5 by incorporating an evaluator with experience in quality agency management, the need to lighten the work of panel secretaries and, finally, how to address the evaluation of panel members upon completion of the evaluation. During the discussion, different ideas were laid on the table which will be studied by ENQA and incorporated into the new guide for the evaluated agencies that is expected to be available by the beginning of 2021.
