The ACPUA is actively participating in the debate and formulation of proposals and allegations on the Draft Royal Decree establishing the organisation of university education and the procedure for quality assurance, which is currently in the consultation and public information phase. On 2nd of June, the director of the Agency, Antonio Serrano, together with the directors of ANECA, Madrimasd, AQU and Unibasq, formed part of the delegation of REACU (Spanish Network of University Quality Assurance Agencies) which, with its technical coordinator for 2021 (José Saturnino Martínez, of ACCUEE), met with the Secretary General of Universities, José Manuel Pingarrón, to discuss the Draft of the Royal Decree and in particular its chapter VI (Procedures for quality assurance of official university education). The meeting was fruitful, so that in the next few days REACU will send the Ministry its main proposals for improving the articles.

Moreover, and this time at the request of the Coordinating Committee of Student Representatives of Public Universities (CREUP), the director of the ACPUA met on Friday 4th of June with members of the Quality Assurance Committee of the Coordinating Committee to find out the students' opinion on this regulatory reform.
