On April 13th, the Advisory Council of the European university alliance UNITA universitas montium was constituted online. All the associated partners of the project in Italy, Spain, France, Portugal and Romania, including the ACPUA, have joined this advisory body of the alliance. The agenda of this constitutive session included the inaugural greeting of the Rector of the Università degli Studi di Torino, Prof. Stefano Geuna, and a presentation of the project and the first steps taken in its first six months of operation, by the coordinator of this Italian university, Prof. Mario Giacobini who then specified the functions of the figure “associated partner” and what the alliance expects of them. Specifically, this Advisory Council is designed as an effective think tank for the alliance, based on the contributions and medium and long-term visions of all the local actors in the social, economic and territorial environment of the universities involved.
