On October 16th, ACPUA attended the webinar "Evaluation of international Joint Degrees: The European approach for QA of Joint Programs". This seminar, organized by the Andalusian Agency of Knowledge (DEVA) in collaboration with the University of Seville, was given by Eva Fernández Labastida, head of Internationalization and Projects of the Basque agency Unibasq. The webinar, presented by Carmen Vargas, Vice Chancellor of Internationalization of the University of Seville, analyzed the importance of international joint degrees, emphasizing the criteria, procedures and guidelines adopted in 2015 by those responsible for higher education in European Union countries for the evaluation of joint programs. So far, two pilot calls have been made (2019 and 2020), in which 41 consortiums have been selected with the participation of 24 Spanish universities. Fernandez Labastida explained the standards and procedure to follow, providing an overview of the current situation of the European Approach.
