07/07/2021 to 09/07/2021

At the invitation of ENQA, the director of our Agency, Antonio Serrano, participated in the "Preparatory Training for the Reviews of External Quality Assurance Agencies in ASEAN", which took place in online format from 7th to 9th of July. This training action is part of the SHARE 2 Project ("The Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region"), which is the reference programme of the European Union in collaboration with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). ENQA is a partner in this programme, which aims to help fully develop the regional quality assurance framework for Southeast Asia. This framework, called AQAN (ASEAN Quality Assurance Network), was created in Kuala Lumpur in 2008 at the initiative of MQA, the Malaysian agency, and SEAMEO (Regional Center for Higher Education and Development).

In particular, the director of the ACPUA shared the experience of our Agency and pointed out the strategic and prestige benefits obtained with the two international assessments we have undergone to demonstrate compliance with European quality standards (ESG).
