ATTENDANCE OF THE ACPUA AT THE LAUNCH OF THE DOCENTIA PROGRAMME AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ZARAGOZA ON 25 NOVEMBER 2024.

The ACPUA attended the conference organised by the University of Zaragoza to launch the first evaluation of teaching staff under the DOCENTIA programme.

The session, presented by the Vice-Rector for Academic Policy, José Ángel Castellanos and the Director of the Secretariat for the Evaluation of Teaching and Research Staff, Eva Pardos, and with the assistance of the Vice-Rector for Teaching Staff, Ismael Jiménez, presented the main elements and key deadlines for this first evaluation of teaching staff, Ismael Jiménez, the main elements and key deadlines of this first pilot call (of a voluntary nature) published by the Resolution of 18 November 2024 of the University of Zaragoza, which orders the publication of the call for the evaluation of the teaching activity of the teaching staff of the University of Zaragoza DOCENTIA-UZ 2024, were announced.

The DOCENTIA programme at the University of Zaragoza aims to contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of teaching at the UZ, favouring the development and recognition of university teaching staff.

The evaluation model was verified by the ACPUA in 2018, this being the first application of the evaluation procedure. The results obtained in this pilot call will be monitored by the ACPUA, with the aim of achieving certification of the DOCENTIA programme at the University of Zaragoza.
