During the last week of November, ACPUA received a visit from the panel of experts appointed by ENQA and coordinated by Milja Homan to carry out its evaluation. The panel was made up of the following four members:
· Chair: Maria Weber (Austria)
· Secretary: Tara Ryan (Ireland)
· Academic: Jordi Villá (Spain)
· Student: Ondrej Havelka (Czechia)
Over three days, more than 50 people belonging to the Aragonese University System (SUA), national and international evaluators and stakeholders from the agency contributed their knowledge on the quality assurance actions that ACPUA has developed over the last five years.
Various topics were discussed, including strategic planning, compliance with European standards and guidelines (ESG), the protocol for measuring SDGs in university institutions, and the new centre evaluation tool created by students, called eBOX, among other aspects.
The meeting was supported by consecutive interpreting from expert translator Natalia Prío, who spent the three days fully dedicated to facilitating the content in both Spanish and English.
The next steps in this process will take place next year, with a review of the final report to be submitted in February, which will contain the conclusions of both the self-assessment report and the results of the interviews conducted during the on-site visit.
