ACPUA attended the 20th Anniversary of the Global Compact in Madrid and participated in the General Assembly, contributing to the analysis of the current situation of the 2030 Agenda in our country. Hundreds of people gathered at a large event in Madrid, led by President Clara Arpa, to celebrate its 20th anniversary under the title ‘Transforming Businesses, Improving the World’. This framework encompasses the mission of the UN Global Compact Spain, which aims to create a better future by promoting sustainability in our country.
Since 2015 ACPUA has been aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, committed to sustainable practices in higher education. In this sense, in 2018 it began the implementation of the ALCAEUS Programme, which the Aragonese Agency completed two years ago. This programme has generated an evaluation protocol that ensures the quality of the university centres around the reflection and development of the 2030 Agenda in their educational community.
