ACPUA launches a comprehensive review of its evaluation committees as part of the 2024–2028 Strategic Plan

26/09/2025

As part of ACPUA’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, and within Line 5+1 “Continuous Improvement of the Agency’s Functioning” of the 2024–2028 Strategic Plan, a comprehensive review process of the Agency’s evaluation committees has been initiated.

This initiative aims to strengthen the legitimacy, representativeness, and effectiveness of the evaluation bodies, while also promoting the inclusion of new perspectives and profiles that enrich the assessment and accreditation processes.

Following a contextual analysis—which included a review of the current regulatory framework, the functioning of the existing committees, and a benchmarking of practices in other national and international quality assurance agencies—the ACPUA Expert Committee proposed, in its meeting held on July 28, the renewal of the members of the Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation Committee.

This renewal was formalized on September 26 with the appointment of the new members of the Committee.

ACPUA would like to express its sincere gratitude to the outgoing members for their valuable contributions, dedication, and professionalism throughout their tenure. Their work has been essential in ensuring the quality and rigor of the evaluation processes carried out by the Agency.
