ACPUA has organised a seminar on quality assurance higher education to announce the launch of its new pool of experts.
ACPUA selects both national and international experts (Spanish speaking) to participate in its evaluation processes. The experts can be university teachers, students, professionals and researchers.
The selection of experts is made from among the people registered in the bank, according to the evaluation process and on the basis of previously established criteria.
In this event, which will take place on Tuesday 30th April 2024 from 13:00 to 14:30, we will have the presence of two speakers of national and European relevance. On the one hand, Germán Gutiérrez, Vice-president for University Policy at the Coordinadora de Representantes de Estudiantes de Universidades Públicas (CREUP), will highlight the crucial role of the student body in forming part of the expert panels for the evaluation of degrees and centres. On the other hand, Alexis Fábregas, Project and Reviews Officer at the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), will talk about the role of experts in the evaluation of university quality, as a requirement for compliance with the European Quality Standards and Guidelines, called ESG, and approved in 2015.
