ACPUA attends first session of INQAAHE talks

08/02/2024

ACPUA attended the online session organised by the international network INQAAHE entitled "Grappling with cost: pressures for effectiveness and efficiencies in quality assurance" in which different speakers from Canada, UK and Germany participated, moderated by Mary Catharine Lennon, member of the organisation's Board.

The aim of these talks is to improve knowledge and share transnational ideas on practical issues concerning higher education quality assurance agencies, as a way to be aware of different ways of management and innovation that contribute to the improvement of daily work.

Therefore, in this webinar, the costs of evaluations were discussed, not only economic but also those related to the prioritisation of tasks, the volume of documents, the appropriate selection of evaluators according to their skills, the type of reports, the expectations of higher education institutions and the competition between different organisations in some countries that are in charge of the same goal, among other aspects.

ACPUA, as a member aligned to the GGPs (Guidelines and Good Practices) of INQQAHE, pays attention to these trainings and to the exchange of information among its stakeholders for the improvement of the Aragonese University System SUA, which is its main purpose.
