The ACPUA attended the webinar organised by ENQA, entitled ‘Quality Assurance-Fit for the future’ and moderated by its Director Anna Gover.
An overview of the project (in which the most relevant European organisations have collaborated) was presented and the results of the project were discussed, focusing mainly on two topics: internationalisation and European standards and guidelines for quality assurance (ESG). Speakers from different countries (Ireland, Finland, Romania and Slovenia) participated in the panel discussion, arguing their opinion according to the university context of each of their countries.
Participants from different nationalities had the opportunity to learn about the state of the art of quality through the vision of institutions, quality agencies and students.
The particularities, advantages and challenges of each of the experiences presented were discussed. Specifically, aspects of interest such as the quality of cross-border, transnational and alliance studies or the inclusion of the social dimension or fundamental values in ESG, among others, were presented.
