ACPUA attended the webinar organised in the framework of the DUAL TRANSVERSALIS project. This project, funded by the INTERREG POCTEFA programme, aims to promote the mobility of students on dual training contracts on both sides of the Pyrenean border. By promoting a common approach to the development of dual training, it aims to create a cross-border training area that responds to several key challenges: improving the professional insertion of students, reinforcing the attractiveness of the territory and supporting economic development in strategic sectors.
The ultimate goal of the project is to establish long-term dual training arrangements in the field of higher education, enabling students to fully engage in this modality on a cross-border scale.
During this videoconference, ACPUA had the opportunity to learn about the overall results of the project, the legal and regulatory framework of dual training in France, Spain and Andorra, as well as the European mobility of dual training students.
The role of ACPUA as an associate member in this project (invited by the University of Zaragoza and with funding foreseen until 2027) consists of promoting the necessary strategic actions to promote a progressive, oriented and well-founded exploration of dual university training experiences in the Aragonese territory, in the degrees and academic-professional domains of the University of Zaragoza that are considered most relevant in the course of the project.
