ACPUA at the 15th meeting of the Quality Evaluation Committee (QEB) for the continuous improvement of UNITA

01/07/2026

ACPUA continues to play an active role in the UNITA European University Alliance through the Quality and Evaluation Board (QEB). On 1 July, the Committee held its fifteenth meeting, at which representatives from universities, students and quality assurance agencies reviewed progress on the Alliance’s quality evaluation and assurance processes.

ACPUA took part in the meeting, alongside other European quality agencies that form part of the QEB, thereby continuing the international cooperation work undertaken since the start of the UNITA project to strengthen the Alliance’s quality assurance mechanisms.

The Chair of the QEB, Simona Lache, who also takes part in the meetings of FOREU4ALL – a project that brings together the 65 European University Alliances currently in existence – highlighted the role that university quality assurance agencies play within this Committee.

As a member of ENQA, EQAR, INQAAHE and ECA, ACPUA actively contributes to the development of innovative quality assurance models for European University Alliances. Participation in the UNITA Quality Assessment Committee enables the sharing of international experiences and progress in the development of common mechanisms for assessment and continuous improvement within the European Higher Education Area.
