The Resolutions of the Director of ACPUA on the certification of centres that host higher education students on teaching placements for degrees in Early Childhood and Primary Education and the Master's Degree in Teaching has been published in the Official Gazette of Aragon.
This assessment activity, which began in 2013, certifies the good work of the centres that host students on work placements, highlighting the prestige that this "Higher Education Practice Centre" seal brings to the more than 450 infant, primary and secondary schools that currently make up this network. The high satisfaction rates (above 8.2/10) reported by university students after participating in the practicum were particularly noteworthy.
Specifically, this activity, together with the issuance of the certification and seal, is a pioneering initiative among Spanish quality assurance agencies. Furthermore, this activity is carried out in accordance with European standards (ESG), which is why ACPUA, as a full member of ENQA (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) and an agency registered in the European EQAR Register, submits this certification activity to international evaluation every five years.
The 14 new certified centres in Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel receive an accreditation diploma valid for three years and a quality seal from ACPUA. Following the accreditation of these new centres, the Permanent Network of University Practice Centres now has 100 centres in the province of Huesca, 77 centres in the province of Teruel and 289 in the province of Zaragoza.
