On 15 May 2025, ACPUA participated in the second General Assembly of INQAAHE in the framework of the INQAAHE 2025 Conference. At the meeting, President Vicki Stott welcomed the participants and Director Fabrice Hénard presented the various documents on the agenda.
Firstly, the newly elected INQAAHE Board of Directors was introduced and an update was given on the INQAAHE Forum planned for 2026.
Secondly, the proposals submitted by the candidates in the election to host the next INQAAHE Conference in 2027 were presented. In this case, the representatives of India and Qatar, which are members of the international organisation, presented their candidatures. The deadline for voting is available online until 25 May 2025.
Finally, International Good Practice Alignment Certificates were awarded to the representatives of Thailand and Panama, as well as to the representatives of Taiwan and United Kingdom for having successfully completed their alignment procedure with the new International Standards and Guidelines (ISG) modality.
ACPUA is a member aligned to INQQAHE's GGPs (Guidelines and Best Practices) since 2023. Since then, it has been following international developments in this field, which aims to improve access to higher education for all people in the international university area.
