On Wednesday 15 May, the Vice-President of the Government of Aragon inaugurated the largest national technology event at the Zaragoza Palacio de Congresos. This meeting brought together world experts in new technologies representing the main international companies in the sector.
For two days, we had the pleasure of hearing how the latest advances in artificial intelligence, IoT, blockchain, cybersecurity and cloud computing are transforming towards a new model of ‘doing’ in the different sectors of the business productive fabric, as well as the institutional sector, from the CEOS and top exponents of national and international companies such as Microsoft, Google and Amazon Web Services.
Aragon displayed its enormous capacity for innovation, transformation and drive by showing the latest developments in technology from leading Aragonese companies in their sector present in our region such as Inycon (ACPUA partner), Ibercaja, Integra, Bitbrain, Podoactiva, Nologic, Hiberus, Imascono, PDL Space, Oboria and Fersa.
ACPUA followed with interest all the sessions where aspects related to Higher Education and the need to continue the transformation towards the adaptation of university degrees to business needs, the incorporation of technological content in a transversal way or the importance of the Dual mention of the degrees were also addressed.
From ACPUA we congratulate CEEI Aragon for the impeccable organisation of this macro-event and the Government of Aragon for promoting new projects and technological investments that will make Aragon, in the next 3 years, a technological Hub without equal in the national geography.
