The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) has just sent to ACPUA the official statement with the Board’s resolution on International Guidelines and Good Practices (GGP).
The INQAAHE Board took a decision on February 28, regarding ACPUA’s Guidelines of Good Practice Alignment (GGP2016), extending their congratulations to the Aragon Agency for Quality Assurance and Strategic Foresight in Higher Education (ACPUA) for completing a recognition process for 3 years (until March 2026).
Specifically, they approved the recommendation of the INQAAHE GGP Recognition Committee on recognizing ACPUA as fully and substantially compliant with GGPs 1 to 5 (GGP6 doesn´t apply):
- GGP1: The structure of the External Quality Assurance Agency (EQAA)
- GGP2: Accountability of the EQAA
- GGP3: The EQAA´s framework for the External review of quality in Higuer Education Institutions
- GGP4: The EQAA and its relationship to the Public
- GGP5: Decision making
Due to recognition, ACPUA becomes the INQAAHE´s first category of membership that is called “GGP ALIGNED MEMBERS” and it defines as “organizations responsible for assuring the quality of external evaluation of institutions and/or programs, which have successfully undergone the INQAAHE GGP Alignment procedure”.
Besides, there are more advantages for getting this status than being just a Full Member, such as: access to the Good Practice Database, involvement in the INQAAHE review panels and avail the priority of being involved in and granted the INQAAHE multiple projects.
