Higher education institutions initial accreditation

About

The Higher education institutions initial accreditation is an evaluation process prior to the authorisation of the Government of Aragon necessary for a university to create or assign a new center. The affiliated centers have a certain functional autonomy with respect to their parent university, but they must comply with the requirements associated with university regulations as well as the terms of the affiliation with their corresponding university.

Objective

The objective of this assessment is to ensure that the new centers comply with the requirements established in current regulations.

Assessment

The applicant university submits a report on the creation of the new center providing the information requested in the Evaluation Protocol. The evaluation of this report is carried out by a panel of experts who produce an initial report that is submitted to the SEC responsible for issuing the final report.
