Evaluation Committees

Programmes Evaluation Committee

The Programmes Evaluation Committee (SET - Subcomisión de Evaluación de Titulaciones) is the technical evaluation committee appointed by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation, as stablished in the Article 93.3 of the Aragon Higher Education Act and in he Article 17 of the Statutes of ACPUA.

Functions:
a) Produce evaluation reports according to the protocols and methodologies determined by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation.
b) Generate reports about the evaluation activity in:

  • Study programmes accreditation process.
  • Study programmes follow up process.
  • Any other study programmes evaluation/ review established by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation.

Its members will act with full independence and will approve/ be responsible for their decisions.

Composition:
a) President:  the member with highest category, seniority  and age, in this order: Dª. María Victoria Nogués Bara.

b) Vocals: six renowned experts, one for each field of knowledge:

  • Dª. María Victoria Nogués Bara
  • D. Enrique Baeyens Lázaro
  • Dª. Pilar Gómez-Serranillos Cuadrado
  • D. Celso Rodríguez Fernández
  • D. Jordi Suriñach Caralt
  • D. Mikel Urquijo Goitia
  • Dª. Ángela Morales Fernández (Higher Education Degrees in Arts)

c) A student, also vocal: D. Alejandro Callizo Silvestre
d) A secretary: one person working at ACPUA and appointed by the Director (with voice but no right to vote): Dª. Isabel Ortega Pardos

Institutions Evaluation Committee

The Institutional Evaluation Committee (SEC - Subcomisión de Evaluación de Centros) is the technical evaluation committee constituted by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation, as stablished in the Article 93.3 of the Aragon Higher Education Act and in the Article 17 of the Statutes of ACPUA.

Functions:

  • Produce evaluation reports according to the protocols and methodologies determined by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation.
  • Generate reports about the evaluation activity in:
  • Creation and affiliation of university centres.
  • Feasibility of affiliated university centres.
  • AUDIT and DOCENTIA programmes.
  • Training School Certification.
  • Teaching staff evaluation system audit
  • Any other processed, as established by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation.

Its members will act with full independence and will approve/ be responsible for their decisions.

Composition:
a) Chair: the member with highest category, seniority and age, in this order:

Research Evaluation Committee

The Research Evaluation Committee (SEI - Subcomisión de Evaluación de la Investigación) is the technical evaluation committee constituted by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation, as stablished in the Article 93.3 of the Aragon Higher Education Act and in the Article 17 of the Statutes of ACPUA.

Functions:
a) Produce evaluation reports according to the protocols and methodologies determined by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation.
b)Generate reports about the evaluation activity in:

  • University research institutes initial accreditation
  • University research institutes accreditation
  • Junior academic staff research activity.
  • Research projects evaluation.
  • Any other processed, as established by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation.

Its members will have full independence and will approve/ be responsible for their acts.

Composition:
a) Chair: the member with highest category, seniority and age, in this order: D. José Bonet Solves
b) Vocals: five renowned experts, one for each knowledge area.
