Introduction
ACPUA pre- authorization reports are issued prior to the authorisation of the implementation of new degrees (authorisation, modification or suppression) in the University System of Aragon by the Government of Aragon. These reports focus on strategic elements not included in said evaluation, like the coherence of the degree within the University System of Aragon and the compliance of the university programming guidelines in Aragon.
Up until now the ACPUA ha performed more than 207 pre-authorization reports.
Procotol
The Government of Aragon authorizes the implementation of any new degree, master and doctorate official degree, establishing the report from ACPUA as a prior requirement.
Thus, ACPUA is responsible for issuing a report prior to the authorisation by the Government of Aragon (thus the name “pre-authorization report”, which is the previous step to requesting the evaluation for title verification by national agency ANECA.
